Development Engineering Services (DES) are experienced precision manufacturers of aluminium, specialising in tight tolerance work from prototype through to batch production.

We can provide a pure sub-contracting service, or a more bespoke offering dependent on the customer’s requirements.

Our input at the development stage can range from recommendations in product and technical design to material and plating choices, as well as surface finishes. Our fully integrated CAD/CAM system and modern machinery allows us to produce high quality parts whilst maintaining machining efficiencies.

Our facility in Shipley, West Yorkshire is equipped with the latest CNC equipment giving us the capability to supply precision components to the highest standards in many different grades of aluminium including commonly used: 2014, 5032, 6082, 1050, 7051.

We machine many different grades of aluminium including series; 1000, 2000, 5000, 6000, 7000.
